I wish I had been introduced to this form of paint much sooner. The ability to build form with light over darker areas is really cool, and its matte finish is a lot less frustrating to deal with than the sheen that acrylic can have. I can only imagine how awesome this would be mixed with other media. It is kind of nice to step away from my ink and marker work for the first time in ages.

Today we also bought an array of patterned and colored paper for about 14 cents each, because I want to step way outside my comfort zone and try some more tactile forms of art. Looking forward to this week a lot, it's great to have the time to invest in traditional art again, now that things in my life have settled down.
